I have owned this Everki backpack for approximately three months. I have greatly enjoyed the utility of the pack. There's a well thought out spot for just about everything you could want to take with you on a trip or need for a day of school. The cushioning for the laptop compartment is more than adequate, and the lining material seems very unlikely to cause any scratches, though I have a clip on cover to prevent this in any event. My two major complaints are outlined below.
At the two month mark, the backpack began to develop a rip in the seam of the right strap which has expanded in the month since. Since the rip is expanding, I'm worried that the pack won't be functional in several months' time. To resolve the issue, I have filed a ticket with Everki's customer support, and I will be updating this review with respect to how they deal with the problem. My second issue is much more minor: The design of the water bottle holder results in having to remove the pack to place a bottle in it. My old Swiss Gear backpack had a much more well thought out system for the beverage holder.
