Rugged and stylish, the Beacon is designed for comfort even with heavy loads and harsh conditions. An ultra-soft, padded laptop compartment deftly protects and carries up to 18” laptops while still leaving enough room in the main compartment for a gaming console and accessories. Comfort and balance are maintained, even under heavy loads, thanks to the Beacon’s 5-point balance strap system and aero-flow padded back and shoulder harness.
The spacious main storage compartment features a large zippered pocket, dividers, and an assortment of multifunction accessory slots. A clever buckle system allows the compartment to open halfway for quick access or a full 180 degrees for easy loading. Gamers will appreciate the inclusion of a dedicated sleeve for taking a gaming console (XBox 360, PS3, or Wii) on the road.

This bag is perfect for the ASUS G73. It is intolerably difficult to find a bag for this monster of a laptop, and to get one with such a wealth of extra features is really satisfying. I knocked it down one star for three reasons. First, this bag is not quite ideal for a student like me- while it does fit a wealth of.... well, everything, it could definitely benefit for a couple more inches of fabric in the main pocket to fit more books. Second, while the pulls and zipper are metal, the teeth of the zipper are plastic. Moreover, the zipper sometimes snags on the inside fabric. Third, the price of the bag is steep. Not that it isn't worth it- don't get me wrong. Simply, price for features seems a tad off, especially with the two preceding points.

This fits my Lenovo w700 comfortably. Due to its odd shape I had been unable to find a bag that did. Then I found this and it is great, it has room for the laptop, its brick of a PSU, mouse, headphones, textbooks, and other items. Besides that the customer service is amazing!!!! I haven't experienced anything like it. I called and got a HUMAN person (not an answering machine) that was both knowledgeable and helpful. My first bag was tearing because of the zippers and I broke two of them. I called and explained my problem, sent a few pictures to be helpful, and the next day I had a tracking number for my new bag. The new version of this bag solves all those problems and is more comfortable to wear too!! This is a great bag and a great company. I would recommend this backpack to anyone who needs to carry a large laptop and I would recommend Everki to anyone looking for great products.

Big enough to fit my Asus G73 laptop with its huge A/C power adapter plus a Zalman NC2000,Razer Vespula, Razer Mamba, headphones and a handfull of other small electronics and still have room left over. So to say this backpack is big is an understatement. It also has plenty of pockets none of which are too small to stick my meaty hands into and not to mention it comes with a rain cover. Not only that but Everki has great customer service. My first backpack came in with a slight problem. The zipper was snagging and was tearing the bag. I got on the phone with a Rep (Hanz,thanks for the help)from Everki. The phone only rang twice and was I talking to a real person and not a machine. I explained the problem and I sent in some pics of the bag. The very next day I recieved an email with the tracking number for the replacement bag. I sit here a very satisfied customer. I would highly recomment this bagpack to anyone with a rather large laptop (or kitchen sink) they need to haul around. When the time comes when I have to get another bag I will buy another Everki bag.

Hi everyone, Donnie Walker from KontrolFreek gaming accessories here. Being the founder of a gaming accessories company, I know that quality counts. I do alot of travel with my LapTop and Xbox and this Case is amazing. No more bulky and ugly cases or bags, now you can travel in style and know your equipment is protected from damage. I will never go anywhere without this product again. I travel for a living and this is about the biggest backpack I have seen or used personally. There is so much room that I can actually take some of what would go in my carry on and put it in my backpack. From carrying and protecting the notebook to handouts, this bag is the top I have used so far!

This is a very good bag design and functionality wise. I went through three bags in the past year and this one so far is the most functional and convenient. The fact that it fits up to a 16 inch laptop provides lots of space for a 15.4 inch widescreen laptop, charger and even a 3 inch stack of paper. The extra pouches in the compartment area with the cargo net is great for small items like a phone, wallet, or flash drive that you don't want to fall out accidentally. It’s also very sturdy.
